Hot-dip aluminum-zinc steel sheet, also known as Galvalume (GL steel sheet for short), is a steel sheet made by hot-dipping aluminum (Al55%), zinc (Zn43.5%), and silicon (Si1.5%) alloys on the surface of the steel sheet.
Shandong Tangrong New Material Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shandong Huixin Group, has commissioned Beijing CISRI New Metallurgical Engineering Design Co., Ltd. to transform and upgrade a production line of aluminum-zinc-silicon steel sheets with an annual output of 400,000 tons.

Production Process
The aluminum-coated zinc products of Huixin Group feature sound heat resistance and oxidation resistance. They remain non-discolored for a long time at 300℃, and can be durably used at about 500℃～600℃. Other features include water resistance and soil corrosion resistance. As an ideal base material of colored organic coated steel sheets, they also feature excellent coating performance and processing performance, as well as strong binding force to organic materials. With workability and weldability similar to that of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets as well as beautiful surface, they can be processed by cold bending and stamping
